ServiceNow acquires Mapwize, an indoor map company

Workflow provider ServiceNow has signed an agreement to acquire Mapwize, an indoor mapping and wayfinding company headquartered in Lille, France. With Mapwize, ServiceNow can provide employees with indoor map functions for booking spaces, meeting rooms, workspaces, and work supplies, as well as the ability to navigate the office environment on desktop or mobile devices. The Mapwize application helps facility teams manage and keep their floor plans up to date based on usage trends and changing real estate needs.

In early August, ServiceNow acquired Swarm64, a company specializing in database performance. ServiceNow aims to use Swam64’s technology to support customers to manage data more effectively across multiple applications for complex and fast large-scale data analysis.
