ServiceNow and executive management expert Celonis announced the signing of a strategic partnership to combine ServiceNow’s low-code workflow management platform with the real-time process execution capabilities of Celonis’ Executive Management System (EMS). In addition, ServiceNow also announced its intention to acquire a stake in Celonis.
The agreement will allow the two companies to provide solutions that help customers identify and prioritize processes that can be automated, and then create digital workflows to optimize them. The goal is to let the company understand how the work is organized so that the work flow becomes more fluid. This information will then be used to propose a new organizational flow chart, with the purpose of accelerating the company’s digital innovation and enabling it to increase efficiency.
Co-investment
The joint solution is expected to be launched in the first half of 2022. ServiceNow and Celonis have agreed in principle to form a strategic market alliance, including mutual investment, joint development commitments, and marketing and sales. In addition, Celonis plans to use ServiceNow for digital workflow management involving IT and employee participation. As far as ServiceNow is concerned, it has applied Celonis’ process mining capabilities to its financial and sales processes.
