The new CEO Kim is a software and cloud business expert with more than 20 years of experience in various industries such as mobile, telecommunications, and finance in a global IT company. Beginning in Nextel in 1999, he served as the South Korean representative of the SaaS-based ALM company CollabNet, and as the head of the software group of IBM Korea.

Since 2015, he has served as an executive in the Asia-Pacific region of IBM Watson. Since 2017, he has served as the Director of Global Corporate Client Affairs for the Pivotal APJ Singapore office under Dell Technologies. Before joining ServiceNow, he served as the Global Transformation Officer for Dell Technologies Group, where he supported the digital transformation of key customers.
