ServiceNow appoints Uber CTO as a member of its board of directors

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), Leading workflow companies make work better for people, today announced the appointment of Uber Chief Technology Officer Sukumar Rathnam as a member of the board of directors, bringing the total number of directors on the ServiceNow board of directors to 12.

As Uber’s chief technology officer, Sukumar is responsible for the company’s global engineering organization. Before joining Uber, Sukumar worked at Amazon for 9 years, where he was responsible for product management, software engineering, machine learning, and selection and catalog system business operations. These systems manage the world’s largest e-commerce catalog of products and offers, providing information on billions of products with more than 10 million requests per second. Before joining Amazon, Sukumar held software engineering and architecture leadership positions at Microsoft, PeopleSoft, and Oracle.
