ServiceNow helps companies “return to work”

ServiceNow

ServiceNow has released four applications that can help companies easily get employees back to the office instead of working from home.

Now that the first phase of the coronavirus crisis seems to be over, many companies are planning to let employees return to work in the office instead of from home. However, they must comply with regulations regarding keeping distance, dispersing employees during shifts during the day, and the health of these employees.

Four major applications

ServiceNow is responding to this with a set of four applications. There is an overall dashboard to facilitate the company’s processes. These applications are built on the overall ServiceNow platform. In addition, they directly integrate with existing applications of workflow experts, including human resources, IT, and services.

Specifically, these apps enable employees to safely return to the workplace, measure their health, and keep a close eye on how many personal protective equipment is available through inventory tools. The overall dashboard must integrate all the data from these applications with each other and make it clear. In addition, the dashboard integrates public data on global infections.

The employee readiness survey application measures the willingness of employees to return to the workplace. This tool can measure their interest and concerns about workplace safety. The employee health screening application ensures that employee health is measured, such as temperature, use of protective equipment, and trends in the office or the entire employee base.

With the help of workplace safety management, companies can obtain a dashboard through which they can adjust the working environment based on social distance, such as planning shifts, inter-shift and post-shift cleaning activities. The dashboard also shows an overview of reserved workplaces on floors, buildings, and sites. It also shows the cleaning status.

In addition, the workplace PPE inventory management application provides an overview of protective materials for each location, such as the available quantity of protective material types.

Availability

ServiceNow has previously released a community application that allows employees to indicate whether they are in self-isolation and which companies can be contacted by their employees in an emergency.

These tools are free to use until the end of September 2020.
