ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott said that as part of the first global visit in India to welcome more than 10,000 employees, the Indian business doubled year-on-year.

“Our annual growth rate in India is 113%. If we continue to double India every year, it will not only be a good place to build software, but it will also be an incredible market for us. Many innovations will happen in India.” , McDermott told ET.

McDermott said that ServiceNow is headquartered in India and California and is home to its two largest development centers. Although they declined to disclose the exact number of employees, they will consider hiring thousands of additional employees in India. “I have a long relationship with India; this is very good for me. We will build a large workforce here and work with the ecosystem to innovate and create solutions for other countries. The world,” he said .

Talent is a key issue, and the company will consider collaborating with universities to train students on the platform to prepare them for the industry when they graduate.

ServiceNow works with companies to help them with their digital transformation, so it focuses on financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology and other regulated vertical industries in India. “Nowadays, every leader knows that they must digitize the company and have a great customer experience, because having a great customer experience leads to high customer loyalty. The company reported revenue of $3.46 billion in 2019, an annual growth rate of more than 30%.
About 15% of ServiceNow employees are in India.
