September 20, 2022 – SPMB, an executive search firm that helps find transformative executives throughout Silicon Valley, has named Radley Meyers as its newest partner. “Radley’s passion for the IT market, and specifically his deep knowledge of the security and data landscape, has enabled him to guide his Fortune 500 clients as they transform to compete in an ever-changing world, and his growth-stage clients looking to scale efficiently and successfully,” said Mike Doonan, managing partner. Mr. Meyers founded the SPMB security practice — and under his leadership, SPMB was recognized by the Hunt Scanlon Media as one of the “Top 40 Cyber Technology Search Firms” in 2021 and 2022. As one of the partners leading the digital transformation practice, he also specializes in IT, product development, and data roles.
Collaborating with Mr. Meyers at a variety of leading technology and technology-enabled services companies, placing senior-level executives in venture capital-funded, private equity-backed, and publicly traded companies. Mr. Meyers brings knowledge and expertise to SPMB’s security and data-related search work, an important area for the firm. He has led both functional searches (CISO, CDO, and VP security and data strategy definition), and has also built executive teams at leading security software and data companies. His recent clients include Disney, Procore, Google, UiPath, TripActions, Capital One and Jumio.
Recently Mr. Meyers in the recruitment of YouTube and Google vice president Jeremy Doig as global chief technology officer of Disney Streaming. New York City-based Disney Streaming is a business unit within Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, delivering the company’s storytelling to audiences worldwide across theatrical, streaming and linear platforms.

Late last year, SPMB promoted Trevor Oechsel to senior client partner. During the past eight years at SPMB, Mr. Oechsel has closed more than 100 searches at some of the most innovative growth companies in technology. Under the mentorship of managing partner Kevin Barry, Mr. Oechsel through SPMB to lead the search since 2019. His expertise lies in recruiting for early-stage and pre-IPO clients within infrastructure, especially security and DevOps, and he placed the key executive nationwide for: Databricks, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Talend, Snyk, Couchbase, Rancher Labs, and Venafi.
