Technology companies dominate a list of top places to work in the UK in 2022, with US workflow software company ServiceNow leading the way.
Technology companies make up 19 of the top 50 companies employed, according to the annual ranking of the job review site Glassdoor. The trend is more prevalent in the top ten, with seven tech companies – including Salesforce and Adobe – making the cut.
According to Glassdoor, the areas have been decided by a company “committed to a flexible approach to work-life balance, good company culture, and good career growth ”.
California -based SaaS company ServiceNow was officially crowned as the UK’s Best Place to Work in 2022, with “stunning culture, potential for opportunities, and great training” cited as reasons to win. This is the first time the company, which opened an office in London in 2019, has made the list.

The top ten Glassdoor places to work in the UK in 2022 are:
- Service Today – Develops cloud computing platforms to help companies manage digital workflows for enterprise operations.
- AT Digital – Works with organizations to accelerate digital delivery, from defining a digital strategy to developing digital products.
- Salesforce – A cloud computing company that makes CRM solutions and provides business software on a subscription basis.
- Immediate Media Company -Offers cross-media publishing services.
- Abcam – Assists life scientists with biological reagents and tools essential to research, drug discovery, and diagnostics.
- McKinsey and Company – A global management consulting firm and advisor to businesses, governments, and institutions.
- Adobe – A software company that provides its users with digital marketing and media solutions.
- VMware – A software company that provides cloud and virtualization services that power complex digital infrastructure.
- Arm – Provider of silicon IP and custom SoCs
- Meta – A social technology company
Elsewhere, London-based fintech Wise, which became a publicly listed company in London last year, is ranked 20th.
