US-based cybersecurity company Tenable has appointed Patricia Grant as chief information officer (CIO). In his new role, Grant is expected to drive digital transformation, innovation and modernization to support the company’s business growth plans.
Grant, who has nearly three decades of experience in various IT leadership roles, joins Tenable from American software company ServiceNow, where he was vice president of digital technology operations.
At ServiceNow, he led many transformational initiatives for both employees and customers. She also developed ServiceNow’s Women in Tech program and serves as a mentor and advocate.
Prior to ServiceNow, Grant worked at US-based cybersecurity company Symantec (now Norton LifeLock, an enterprise security software brand purchased by Broadcom) for 11 years and the PeopleSoft division of IT major Oracle for almost nine years.
“Patricia joins Tenable at an important time for the company,” said Amit Yoran, president and CEO of Tenable. He added that his “proven track record of building successful programs will help further accelerate our growth and profitability”.

Grant holds an executive masters of business administration from California State University and a bachelor’s degree in communication from Ohio State University and another degree in computer information systems from DeVry University in the US.
