ServiceNow has signed a framework agreement with the Canadian government, which means that federal agencies will be able to use the company’s Now platform to accelerate cloud adoption, automate workflow and support services.

These services will be provided to Shared Services Canada (SSC) and Canadian government agencies that have the right to purchase through SSC, Responsible for providing light-touch cloud brokerage services by signing contracts with cloud service providers.
The agreement also includes a partnership with IPSS, an IT network security company based in Ottawa, which will enable the Canadian federal government to access ServiceNow’s platform as a service (PaaS) capabilities.

The latest move by the federal government is an expansion of its cloud adoption strategy, which was first announced in the summer of 2016.
