The new cloud-based platform helps protect operational security

As more and more devices that we might not normally think of as ‘IT’ become connected, the risks to businesses are increasing.

To address this concern, Claroty is launching xDome, a new cloud-based industrial cybersecurity platform that drives cyber and operational resilience for modern industrial enterprises.

It aims to deliver the ease and scalability of SaaS without compromising the breadth or depth of visibility, protection, and monitoring controls essential to ‘cyber-physical system’ (CPS) security.

xDome features include asset discovery using multiple methods, vulnerability and risk management support, detection and response capabilities to combat both known and unknown threats, and network segmentation controls.

“Every business has a different environment and our goal is to make sure we can take data from or send data to tools to help gain better awareness and also help drive actions that deemed appropriate,” said Grant Geyer, CPO at Claroty. “We collect data from anything that helps us create the most accurate, single system of record for the organizations we are focused on. We can also send data for organizations looking for a complete view of their IT and OT environment so they can detect incidents from data coming into OT or vice versa. We also want to have the capability for a policy management capability, so you can see anomalies for the standard policy. We also integrate with firewalls and network security to implement and segment the network to help mitigate the inherent risk of those environments. All of those capabilities are built into the platform, we have integrations with IT service management tools , such as ServiceNow, CrowdStrike, Central One and Microsoft Defender for IoT to regulate response activities within these platforms o. .”
