The newly launched Thirdera is expected to lead the way in ServiceNow solutions

Three recently acquired ServiceNow channel partners are being merged by their private equity owners to create a new major player in the service market surrounding the ServiceNow platform.

The new consulting company, Thirdera, will be formally established on Thursday, with the goal of providing the most comprehensive lineup of solutions and services from a company focused on ServiceNow.

The new company also announced that its senior management levels include CEO Jason Wojahn (pictured) and Chairman of the Board Marc Talluto, both of whom are veterans in the ServiceNow market.

Last month, Sunstone Partners, headquartered in San Mateo, California, stated that it has acquired three solution providers in the ServiceNow field and plans to merge them and create the so-called largest independent consulting partner focused on ServiceNow .

The three companies are Evergreen Systems, an elite ServiceNow partner located in Leesburg, Virginia; Cerna Solutions, also an elite partner of ServiceNow, headquartered in San Marcos, California; and Novo/Scale, a senior service provider located in Miami, Florida ServiceNow partners.

“We think the industry is ready for the third partner era,” CEO Wojahn said in an interview with CRN. “Need an elite partner dedicated to ServiceNow.”

Wojahn served as the president of the Cloud Pioneer Cloud Sherpas ServiceNow business unit, and then as the senior managing director and head of global ServiceNow practice at Accenture, who acquired Cloud Sherpas in 2015. During Accenture, he developed the ServiceNow practice through acquisitions and organic growth, with annual revenue of more than $350 million and more than 6,000 employees.

Talluto was previously the CEO of Fruition Partners, one of the industry’s leading ServiceNow integrated service providers. Fruition Partners was acquired by DXC Technology in 2015, and Talluto continued to expand the ServiceNow business through a series of ServiceNow partner acquisitions (including TESM, BusinessNow and Syscom).

Wojahn said in an interview that although Evergreen, Cerna and Novo/Scale all focus on the ServiceNow market, they each have a unique set of service products, capabilities and intellectual property rights, and these products are being integrated under the Thirdera brand. Thirdera is now integrating the businesses of Evergreen, Cerna, and Novo/Scale, and appropriately adjusting the intellectual property, capabilities, and best practices of these three companies to use them in the new company.

“We have an excellent team in these companies,” Wojahn said. “We think we have a very unique opportunity. We want to be the most comprehensive ServiceNow partner in the world.”

The fast-growing ServiceNow provides a cloud-based platform that companies and organizations can use to automate workflow and business processes in areas such as IT operations management, employee and human resource management, customer service management, and other processes. This has produced a thriving ecosystem of partners who provide services around the ServiceNow platform.

According to Wojahn, Thirdera itself will become an elite ServiceNow partner who will provide consulting, management, technology and development services to help large and medium-sized companies make the most effective use of the ServiceNow platform.

The CEO said that by focusing on ServiceNow, Thirdera can be more flexible and work more closely with customers than larger system integrators and service companies (such as DXC Technology and NTT Data Services), and ServiceNow is one of many practices. .

The combination of the three service providers will enable Thirdera to expand the specific capabilities of each company. And the geographic focus of each company provides Thirdera with areas where three companies covering the Americas have already operated. Thirdera has employees in North America, Latin America and India.

But Thirdera and the owners of Sunstone Partners have no intention of ending the acquisition with the three. Wojahn said that the plan calls for more acquisitions in the Americas to expand the new company’s skills portfolio (including vertical industries) and geographic coverage. He stated that the acquisitions in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and the Asia-Pacific region will make Thirdera a truly global service provider.

“This is just our first step,” Wojahn said of the combination of Evergreen, Cerna and Novo/Scale under the name Thirdera.

“In the new digital paradigm, IT must become the main source of innovation for every company,” Talluto chairman said in a statement announcing the Thirdera plan. “Our customers are very aware of the urgent need to change the way they work. They know they must use the power and prospects of cloud, automation, and digitalization to achieve this goal.”

“The combination of our differentiated IP and proprietary solutions allows us to uniquely use ServiceNow technology to help customers unlock their potential and accelerate their growth and productivity,” Talluto said.

ServiceNow Chief Revenue Officer Kevin Haverty said in the same statement: “The merger, rebranding and appointment decisions demonstrate our expectations for Jason and Marc, and our vision, leadership and commitment to ServiceNow customers. “We are very pleased to see how Thirdera will drive a new era of growth in the ServiceNow partner ecosystem, and we look forward to working closely with its team to satisfy ServiceNow customers.”
