New Members and 2022 Grant Recipients are welcome
FREMONT, Calif .– (BUSINESS WIRE)-The Streaming Video Alliance (SVA), a global technical association that develops solutions to address critical technical challenges in delivering a high-quality video experience Extensively, is meeting online today for the first quarterly member meeting of the year. This virtual event, themed “Stuck in the Virtual Loop” will run for four days, starting today, January 31, until Thursday, February 3, 2022. To accommodate attendees from around the world, all events will start early in Pacific Time.
SVA is proud to welcome new Principal Members Alibaba, Thales, and Velocix. The Alliance is also pleased to announce the return of Google and Wowza as Principal Members.

Streaming Video Alliance Opens Public Comment Window for Non -Member Companies
As part of SVA’s ongoing mission to connect the streaming video industry, they officially announced the availability of public comments for draft documents. Interested companies must apply and sign a feedback and non-disclosure agreement before submitting their feedback. Feedback will be reviewed along with other member comments made in the first stage of the document approval process. The Alliance welcomes 2022 Grant Members
Each year Membership Grant program sponsors select, small companies that meet specific financial needs with a one -year Principal membership. For the second consecutive year, the Alliance has met its promise to award at least fifty percent of membership grants to businesses led by under -represented groups.
Blockcast, Netskrt Systems, picoNETS have joined the Alliance as 2022 class of grant recipients. In addition, 2021 grant recipient members Datazoom, Didja, Touchstream, and allt will continue until 2022 as Grant members.
