The amount was marked by a 40.1% decrease on the previous month’s $ 2.17bn and a decrease of 56.8% compared to the last 12-month average, which reached $ 3.01bn.
Comparing big data venture financing value deals in different regions of the world, North America held the leading position, with total announced deals during the period worth $ 938.71m. At the national level, the US topped the list in terms of deal value at $ 928.71m.
