Another TTC employee was attacked at work.

Toronto Police were called Saturday at 9:45 pm at the Sheppard-Yonge subway station for reports that a TTC operator had been struck by a group of six people.
It was reported that the group was behaving improperly when approached by the operator, who was then attacked.
The operator was taken to hospital with a head injury believed to be not life threatening.
Two boys were arrested and each was charged with mischief under and interfering with property, uttering threats and assault causing bodily harm.
They were released and are scheduled to appear in court at another time.
Two men are still outstanding and wanted.
The incident follows other attacks involving TTC employees this year.
On the morning of Feb. 9, a 46-year-old TTC employee was stabbed at the Dupont station while on his job. A 30-year-old man was charged.

Then on the afternoon of Feb. 16, a TTC bus driver was stabbed over a fare dispute in the Keele St. area. at Lawrence Ave. Two youths, ages 14 and 15, are facing assault charges.
In Feb. 17 at about 11:35 am, police said a man on the platform at the Main subway station threw liquid in front of a TTC conductor without provocation. The conductor was not hurt.
The Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 113, which represents nearly 12,000 workers at TTC, called on TTC management and the city to develop and implement a transit worker protection plan.
“While attacks against workers have become more common throughout the pandemic, its mental and psychological impact on transit workers has been enormous,” the union said in a statement.
