TMLabs releases new ServiceNow application integrated with LexisNexis-recommended content

The new integration of TMLabs and LexisNexis connects ServiceNow GRC directly to LexisNexis compliance content management.

TMLabs added LexisNexis integration to its ServiceNow product. It is now available for free download from the ServiceNow store. The solution is designed to be used with ServiceNow GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) and to provide secure and seamless LexisNexis compliance content management.

The ServiceNow product portfolio helps companies improve operational capabilities by embedding risk management and regulatory compliance (plus a familiar user experience) into their daily work processes, thereby achieving business resilience. In the product portfolio, the “Strategy and Compliance” application provides a centralized process for creating and managing policies, standards, and internal control procedures that cross-map external regulations and best practices. LexisNexis is one of the most well-known external content providers. However, its “regulatory compliance” product lacks out-of-the-box (OOTB) integration with ServiceNow, which means that organizations face some key challenges:

• Unless both products are integrated at the same time, customers who have obtained both LexisNexis compliance and ServiceNow GRC licenses may not achieve the maximum return on investment.
• So far, integration has required a customized solution every time, which proved to be costly and difficult to implement and maintain.
• Non-standard integrated solutions can lead to varying degrees of success.
• Customized integrated solutions may not take advantage of the OOTB ServiceNow application architecture, thereby reducing effectiveness in the long term.

The new integration of TMLabs and LexisNexis connects ServiceNow GRC directly to LexisNexis regulatory compliance content management, thus avoiding these problems and helping customers keep up to date with the latest content.
