TravelPerk has hired new chief financial officers and chief people officers, each of whom said the travel management platform will help with global expansion, particularly in the United States.
Tech industry veteran Roy Hefer has joined TravelPerk as its chief financial officer, based in Barcelona. Hefer most recently worked as VP of finance at California-based Hippo Insurance, and he also led finance and operations at Avail Medsystems and medical device company Lumenis.
In September, Sally Sourbron will also join TravelPerk’s senior leadership team as chief people officer, leading HR, recruiting and other global people functions at the company.

TravelPerk co-founder and CEO Avi Meir said the two new hires’ experience with US companies “will help us develop new business opportunities that will enable further growth [in the region].”
The Barcelona-based company recently expanded its global presence with the acquisition of Birmingham-based Click Travel and California-based NexTravel, both acquired in 2021.
