Trend Micro announced the launch of Trend Micro One, a unified cybersecurity platform with a growing list of ecosystem technology partners.
The new platform is designed to help customers better understand, communicate and lower their cyber risk, according to the company.
Trend Micro said organizations are struggling in all fields to deal with rising cyber threats from their complex and growing attacks over stretched teams and siled security products.
Recognizing this, the unified security platform approach aims to deliver a seamless lifecycle of risk and threat analysis with attack surface detection, cyber and threat risk analysis and threat response.
The inaugural partners of the Trend Micro One technology ecosystem include the following: Bit Discovery, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Okta, Palo Alto Networks, ServiceNow, Slack, Qualys, Rapid7, Splunk and Tenable.
According to the company, Trend Micro One delivers risk assessment capabilities, but ecosystem partners have expanded that to make it more complete and competitive within the industry.
Joint customers benefit from connected visibility, better detection and response capabilities, and comprehensive protection at security layers and systems, the company says.
Trend Micro One supports this approach by allowing customers to:
- Discover the surface of the attack: Identify, track, and profile cyber assets in customers ’environments.
- Understand and continuously assess risk: Evaluate risk exposure, the status of vulnerabilities, the adjustment of security controls, and types of threat activity.
