Vivian supports the Illumio Core platform and helps enterprises and federal customers evaluate how Illumio can be used to address compliance and unreliable technical controls.
In this role, he developed architectural and control mapping references that guide Illumio’s capabilities to regulatory and security industry standards such as PCI-DSS, SWIFT CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS/SANS Top 20 Controls, and NIST 800-207 (Zero Trust).
He also led the cross-functional team that produced Illumio’s responses to the proposed Zero Trust Architecture framework, maturity model, cloud security and technical reference architecture documents from DHS/CISA, OMB and NIST. He also represents Illumio on the ATARC Zero Trust Working Group and the GSA Zero Trust Working Group.
Prior to Illumio, he held product management and product marketing roles at ServiceNow and Symantec, specializing in risk, server security, compliance and ITOM products.
Vivian has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics and an MBA with a concentration in IT Management.
