Enterprise cloud software provider Unit4 has announced the appointment of Tom Ascroft as the new chief information security officer
As the new Unit4 CISO, Ascroft will lead the organization’s cyber security operations worldwide, identifying emerging security threats and developing strategies, policies, controls and cultures for mitigating them.
Ascroft joined following his tenure as chief information security officer at the University of Surrey, revamping and reshaping the institution’s cyber security offering along with the IT services department.
Previously, Ascroft held the director of the EMEA -wide information security role for Avanti Communications, followed by the position of head of information security consulting for Legal and General in the UK.
As Unit4 continues to invest in its security capabilities, customers will benefit by expanding their own internal IT teams, and creating more reliable up-time, providing assurance with internal security procedures. of the company.
