Computacenter, an IT distribution services company, has just acquired TeamUltra to enhance its expertise around ServiceNow solutions. It is counting on increasing its bill for IT services, which has represented a windfall for several years.

Computacenter continues to grow by enhancing service development around ServiceNow solutions. This long-established English-language company specializes in publishing and has just acquired a compatriot TeamUltra IT services company that specializes in IT service management (ITSM) technology for US publishers. Six months ago, Computacenter has become a ServiceNow partner.

After the acquisition is completed, TeamUltra’s 60 experts will remain independent, but the software company is taking this opportunity to become the exclusive supplier of Computacenter for all of its ServiceNow projects. The IT service and distribution company also intends to provide synergies with its service desk and digital workplace.

Currently, TeamUltra does not have a team in France, but Computacenter intends to ensure the dissemination of its expertise through its various subsidiaries. Therefore, French resources will integrate the service company team for training. After several years of economic recession, Computacenter resumed growth in 2016 (a 6% increase), including the French market (a 2% increase). It is its service activities that enable the company to go all out. In the French market, its on-site invoices have increased by 10%.
