An International Mining Company has a CONTRACT VACANCY available for a Mid to Senior Level Project Manager in the Process/Security portfolio
The candidate must have extensive knowledge of all ITIL processes, as well as technical knowledge of ServiceNow or related ITSM tools. The candidate will need to be able to communicate very effectively at all levels, and work on identifying processes and identifying gaps/overlaps and possible interdependencies in various SNOW technical projects.

The Process/Security Project Manager will work with the process consultant (s), HCL/Accenture and BT technical teams, business stakeholders and other project managers to ensure the smooth delivery of process -related projects. There will also be a primary focus on identifying and managing interdependencies between all processes and projects associated with the EUC.
Manage project (s) in accordance with program management and mining standards for Mining proprietary projects: create, maintain and obtain sign-off on Mining project management documentation including but not limited to PID (s), project plans, RAID (s).
For supplier-owned projects
Review and approve supplier -produced project management documentation including but not limited to PID (s) and plan (s). -Manage and coordinate project delivery and implementation, directing suppliers of Mining houses and 3rd party resources as appropriate.
Accurately cover projects and effectively manage the relationship between deadlines, functionality, risk, interdependencies, budget and quality.
Manage multiple projects with different priorities until completion.
Ensure that all projects are supported by a prior business case and a business case.
Track and monitor the status and progress of each project.
Updating the master project work schedule.
Manage stakeholder communication.
Align the deliverables (outputs) with the “outcomes” of the projects with the help of the business change manager.
Define project management (controls).
Manage project risks and issues by taking size corrections, sending them to the Program Manager where appropriate and in accordance with agreed program management.
Manage project modification in compliance with program management and agreed approvals.
Produce regular high quality, accurate and complete status reports.
Perform appropriate inspections to ensure that all designs and work packages comply with the Mining Houses.
Plan and conduct service readiness drills to verify the project is ready for handover to BAU (run) operations.
Management and use of technical resources/architect solutions in projects.
Collaborate with designated operational staff regarding work processes and instructions that may require review/amendment.
Ensuring that all Projects are registered with the PMO and that the management of the Global PMO is complied with.
