Viavi Solutions Inc. (VIAVI) has announced the existence of ApexNowan app integration between VIAVI’s Observer Apex and ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Telecommunications Service Operations Management. ApexNow gives IT users quick access to the patented VIAVI End User Experience (EUE) scoring model, further facilitating problem identification, analysis and resolution for Observer and ServiceNow Platform® IT users. The Observer application is available from the ServiceNow Store.

According to VIAVI’s State of the Network survey, SecOps and NetOps teams are managing new tasks from anywhere, and supporting growth in unified communications, all while computing the skill gap. ApexNow allows application technicians with varying levels of training to quickly isolate issues by network, server, application or client domain, or physical location. The VIAVI EUE Score is based on a machine learning (ML) process that harnesses the power of the Service Now platform to provide insight into the root of the damage to allow an automated implementation of the remedial process.
