Tenable expands support for the latest version of the ServiceNow platform to strengthen its risk-based vulnerability management security workflow | Tenable Network Security Japan KK press release

Tenable

CyberExposure company Tenable®, Inc. announced that it will integrate Vulnerability Response (VR) and IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows with Tenable Apps 3.0 to support ServiceNow’s Now platform (Paris version). This integration simplifies the risk-based vulnerability management program assessment and remediation workflow, saving valuable time and resources required to identify, prioritize, and repair high-risk vulnerabilities. …

Tenable and ServiceNow predictive technologies enable you to effectively identify and fix security issues based on vulnerabilities and asset importance. IT and security personnel can directly use Tenable’s vulnerability priority evaluation results (VPR) in ServiceNow’s VR applications to view the repair priority of each defect, and at the same time, consider the risks that affect the business, and can sort and filter. If Tenable Lumin™ is in place, you can combine asset importance assessment (ACR) with new features to understand the importance of fragile assets from a business perspective, and I can do it. After the vulnerabilities are identified and repaired, the assets will be automatically reassessed to ensure that the issues are resolved, allowing you to establish a complete closed-loop repair process.

If you have both Tenable and ServiceNow products, ServiceNow’s Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) will standardize the asset creation and matching process to improve overall data quality. You can reduce the time required to deploy the configuration. IT and security departments can use IRE to create and match assets discovered by Tenable from ServiceNow’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB), saving time and resources.

Tenable co-founder and chief technology officer Renaud Deraison said: “In today’s highly dynamic and complex environment, there may be hundreds or even thousands of companies every day. There are no loopholes in the face. One second cannot be wasted. Quickly invest in valuable When the most important asset is found when the risk that is considered the greatest damage to the business is discovered. Through this integration with ServiceNow, we have enhanced our risk-based vulnerability management capabilities.”

Now, the ServiceNow store can provide support for the Paris and Orlando versions of the Now platform for customers who have Tenable.io® or Tenable.sc™.
