Ernst & Young Canada acquired SuMO IT Solutions, a Toronto-based consulting service provider for the ServiceNow platform.
SuMO was established in 2013 and has provided more than 1,500 services and asset management projects for North American companies. The first Canadian company to obtain ServiceNow Elite Partner status, SuMO provides implementation, development and support services for popular digital workflow platforms.
The company’s more than 60 experts have expertise in all aspects of ServiceNow, including IT and customer service management, asset management, human resources service delivery, and security operations. The company has offices in Toronto and Calgary, serving customers in more than a dozen industries.
“We have established a strong corporate services and operations management company and secured a leadership position in Canada through ServiceNow. Now, through Ernst & Young, we can use their expertise and global influence to accelerate the transformation and growth of our customers,” Deputy President Steven Kiss said SuMO’s head of sales and marketing.
The acquisition of SuMO by Ernst & Young Canada will expand the consulting company’s ServiceNow business, which has the status of a global elite partner. Competitor KPMG Canada acquired the ServiceNow business of Vancouver-based IT consulting company Wirefire last year.
