Munich/Zurich-ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) and Celonis today announced a strategic partnership. Their common goal is to help companies maximize the results and impact of their digital initiatives-a key requirement for success in today’s work world. The collaboration will merge ServiceNow’s market-leading low-code workflow platform with Celonis’ real-time execution management platform. ServiceNow also plans to make a financial investment in Celonis.

As part of the partnership, ServiceNow and Celonis will jointly provide solutions to help customers accurately identify and prioritize processes suitable for automation. On this basis, digital workflows can then be created to optimize processes and procedures. Together, ServiceNow and Celonis give their customers a better understanding of how processes run across the company and how they can use this knowledge to accelerate digital innovation and optimize workflows.

“We are currently observing the extremely rapid development of innovation. Because companies are facing the major task of developing new business models while accelerating digital transformation,” explained ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott (Bill McDermott)“ServiceNow and Celonis are working together to help companies eliminate process bottlenecks that have occurred over the past few decades, advance digitalization and improve the work environment for employees. We now look forward to the partnership between ServiceNow and Celonis that will bring us new opportunities.”

According to Gartner, Inc., the hyper-automated software market will reach nearly $860 billion by 2025[1]However, only a few companies are aware of the extent to which outdated processes hinder their business operations and obtain the greatest possible benefits from their digital investments. In order to automate processes in a truly meaningful way, organizations need to understand how workflows work across people, processes, and systems. ServiceNow and Celonis provide this information in real time to create digital workflows and make them more efficient.

In this way, customers can quickly identify process bottlenecks and automatically initiate solutions to increase customer satisfaction, increase sales, and improve cash flow and operating margins. Data execution, automation, machine learning, process mining, robotic process automation, and low-code application development on the Now Platform are combined with Celonis’ execution management system (EMS) to provide customers with real-time information. They can improve their work processes quickly and continuously.
