ServiceNow and Celonis’ strategic partnership in process mining-ZDNet Japan

ServiceNow

ServiceNow and process mining company Celonis announced that they will establish a strategic partnership to cooperate and invest on their respective platforms.

This partnership is worth noting because ServiceNow is the “platform now” and Celonis is the process mining tool “Executive Management System” (EMS), a company dedicated to digital transformation (DX) of operations. ServiceNow focuses on improving operational efficiency through workflow, while Celonis aims to use data to improve business processes.

The two companies said the jointly developed service will be released in the first half of 2022. First, it combines ServiceNow’s low-code workflow platform with Celonis EMS’s real-time process execution capabilities. Customers will be able to map workflow elements such as personnel, processes, and systems in real time, and build digital workflows to automate operations more effectively.

This partnership includes strategic GTM (Go to Market) plans such as mutual investment, joint development, marketing and sales. Celonis uses ServiceNow for IT and employee engagement. ServiceNow has adopted Celonis’ process mining capabilities in its internal finance and sales.

ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott (Bill McDermott) said that Celonis and ServiceNow can quickly accelerate new business models and digital transformation. Celonis co-CEO and co-founder Alex Rinke said that the cooperation with ServiceNow will enable companies to obtain more data.
