Accenture and ServiceNow joined forces to form a global business unit dedicated to digital transformation projects.

The department will be composed of 8,500 Accenture personnel with ServiceNow skills, who will be dedicated to promoting customers’ work processes and platform development, marketing, sales and business development. This department is called the Accenture ServiceNow business group and will be particularly focused on helping customers create more self-service and remote work programs.

Accenture is currently the global elite partner of ServiceNow, and has taken the lead in several major ServiceNow projects such as the pharmaceutical giant Boehringer Ingelheim (Boehringer Ingelheim) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Accenture CEO Julie Sweet said: “By further strengthening our strategic alliance with ServiceNow, we will enable our customers to accept change more quickly.”

“By migrating to the cloud, they can reimagine their operations, retrain their staff skills and become more sustainable. Working with ServiceNow to automate complex processes and create better experiences across the industry, we will help Organizations provide greater 360-degree value and benefit everyone (their customers, employees, shareholders, partners, and communities).”
