Amsterdam database company MonetDB Solutions has signed an agreement with Servicenow. The agreement includes an investment and integrates MonetDB’s database technology into Servicenow’s Now Platform service management application. It is not clear how much funding these plans involve.
Through cooperation, MonetDB Solutions hopes to improve its services to large companies. Organizations using database products can use it to accelerate and expand their digital activities. “Together with Servicenow, we will further expand our database-as-a-service environment,” said Martin Kersten, CEO and co-founder of MonetDB Solutions.
For Servicenow, the integration with Amsterdam’s open source database technology has brought greater analytical capabilities to its service platform. Especially the largest users of the platform will experience faster transaction speeds. This includes the responsiveness of the applications they use.
