Cornerstone Studios, the content creation department of Cornerstone OnDemand, has released several new series to help organizations and employees prepare for the imminent workforce changes.

The areas covered include overcoming new challenges, creating a fairer workplace and helping workers put customers first.

Cornerstone Originals was launched in November 2019, when the company began to emphasize content as a way to differentiate itself in the market. At the time, CEO Adam Miller stated that the department would strengthen Cornerstone’s approach by “making unique content in a repeatable and scalable way.” You can get Cornerstone Originals at any time through Cornerstone Content.

In the series introduced:

  • H File: Project Management explores project management examples and best practices.
  • DNA: Diversity, Equality, and Inclusiveness of Digital Natives (DEI) continues Cornerstone Originals’ learning series DNA: Digital Natives Progress, which introduces six nano-learnings on topics such as LGBTQ issues, mental health issues, and black experiences course.
  • Make it now: Sponsorship for high-potential employees will provide training on building a fairer workplace and introduce actions that leaders can take to help others develop their careers.
  • Customer-centric, role-centric, to provide guidance for keeping customers in mind.

Earlier this month, Cornerstone announced its integration with ServiceNow, which can help mutual customers “promote a culture of continuous learning.” Through the integration, ServiceNow users can access the modules assigned to them in Cornerstone Learning. In addition, customers can track the completion of all training, whether it is accessed through Cornerstone or ServiceNow.

In September, the company built a skills engine into its products. Called the “Cornerstone Skill Map”, it aims to help organizations implement “strategic skills”, that is, the cornerstone’s description of matching skills and personnel, learning content and job roles.

Cornerstone also appointed a new CEO this year. In May, Adam Miller was replaced by Phil Saunders, who led the acquisition by Saba Software.
