Dynatrace and Service now integrate intelligence into Biz-AIOps-aaS

Dynatrace proposed Enhanced two-way automatic integration between its own Dynatrace software intelligence platform and ServiceNow Now platform.

The alliance aims to provide “precise topology and service mapping” for dynamic multi-cloud environments.

Users (registered as joint customers) will receive intelligent automation and reduce the risk of disruption through predictive problem identification and automatic repair.

Not just the company mentioned by DevOps, is this a technology that business-centric Biz-DevOps teams have to guess? Spoiler alert: Obviously, this is digital transformation.

That smart thing?

Well, both companies insist that they are important in intelligence…but in slightly different ways.

Smart

By combining the automatic and “smart” observability of Dynatrace with the “smart” automation capabilities of the ServiceNow platform, customers and partners can speed up the realization of autonomous cloud operations. On the surface, this is undoubtedly very smart.

“By combining ServiceNow and Dynatrace, customers have a deeper understanding of digital services, can derive signals from noise to pinpoint root causes, and provide flexible operations for all applications and microservices in hybrid or multi-cloud environments ,” said Vice President Jeff Hausman. President and General Manager of ServiceNow IT Operations Management, Security and CMDB/ServiceGraph.

Steve Tack, senior vice president of product management at Dynatrace, said: “When executing digital transformation projects in a dynamic multi-cloud environment, customers are looking for ways to control cloud complexity and gain more time for innovation.” The close cooperation of customers can now provide the closed-loop, predictable problem identification and automatic remediation that customers have always desired. Together, we will enable AIOps methods for autonomous cloud operations.”

Through the partnership between Dynatrace and ServiceNow, customers can use features to create results, including automated real-time topologies across hybrid, multi-cloud environments with rich contexts to understand potential problems in digital services and their exact root causes.

This announcement is based on the latest version of Dynatrace Service Graph Connector.
