New York (Dow Jones)-Cloud computing expert Servicenow’s stock will acquire the acclaimed S&P 500 index from Celgene when it starts trading on the American Stock Exchange on Thursday. In the background, the index operating trademark S&P Global announced on Monday that it currently sells Celgene, a US pharmaceutical company, to Bristol-Myers Squibb. At the same time, laboratory equipment supplier Thermo Fisher Scientific replaced Celgene in the S&P 100 index.
