Security company HackerOne announced a series of new partnerships and integrations to make its platform more suitable for existing security and development workflows.

These agreements include agreements with ServiceNow and PagerDuty to provide real-time updates of critical vulnerabilities so that their customers can respond quickly to threats.

Through integration with Splunk and Sumo Logic, a new type of data and log aggregation tool is provided, and customers using Kenna Security and Brinqa can import their data from HackerOne into these applications.

In addition, the collaboration with HackEDU, an interactive cyber security training organization, enables their developer training to automatically adapt to vulnerabilities discovered by hackers in client programs.

HackerOne also outlines many further integrations in the pipeline. These include new features in GitHub and Microsoft products such as Azure Operations and Microsoft Teams.

Michiel Prins, co-founder of HackerOne, said: “Our mission is to empower the world to build a safer Internet. Although this may start with understanding your vulnerability, what happens next is critical. Through first-class integration , HackerOne enables customers to improve efficiency, collaboration and scalability by introducing industry-leading tools into the HackerOne ecosystem and creating seamless workflows in these tools.”

PagerDuty Senior Director of Strategic Business Development Steve Gross said when discussing integration with the HackerOne platform: “Vulnerability notification and communication are one of the most important aspects of the security team’s workflow. Notify the correct team member as soon as possible that a serious error or seriousness has been reported. Errors, they will be able to start the repair process earlier.

“Because the potential for delayed or missed notifications is a data breach, the risk is high. In response to these challenges, PagerDuty is pleased to work with HackerOne to provide real-time updates of reported critical vulnerabilities so that customers can optimize response time and start as soon as possible remedy.”
