Infosys and ServiceNow collaborate to serve the manufacturing industry

Infosys Consulting Company announced on Tuesday (9/21) that it has reached a cooperation agreement with ServiceNow, a digital work solution provider, to provide enterprise-level service management for manufacturing customers. Through this cooperation, Infosys will use its industrial cloud project (part of Infosys Cobalt) and implement ServiceNow Operational Technology Management (OTM) to support the manufacturing industry to digitize factory and workshop operations.

As part of this collaboration, Infosys will use its Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Café and ServiceNow OTM based on the Now platform to improve the resiliency and availability of critical OT systems throughout the manufacturing environment. This cooperation will also be extended to meet the digital needs of OTM, factory and customer operations in the CPG, energy and retail sectors.

Infosys and ServiceNow recently partnered with Carrier Global Corporation, a global provider of health, safety, sustainable and smart building and cold chain solutions, to help them achieve their goal of spinning off the parent company UTC. Infosys Cobalt’s ESM Café helped Carrier transform IT, HR service desk and security operations in a timely manner. Carrier chose Infosys because of its expertise in using the Now platform to transform legacy environments, speed of execution, and ability to accelerate large-scale deployments outside of IT.
