1. Distribution-Open XDR: IT Security Distribution Inc. (ITSDI) in the Philippines has agreed to distribute Stellar Cyber Open XDR in the region.
2. Channel Director – SD-WAN and SASE: Aryaka has appointed Craig Patterson as its new channel director and vice president of sales for the Americas. Patterson is responsible for listing strategies in agency, resale and distribution channels.
3. Executive Leader-Cyber Security Consulting: Evolver, a government-focused security consulting company, has named it Dan Jetton As the vice president of cyber security. The company in Reston, Virginia has approximately 200 employees.
4. Ransomware recovery software: Druva’s accelerated ransomware recovery module now has a planned recovery function. The company stated that the new feature “mitigates the impact of ransomware attacks and builds an uncorrupted, unencrypted, and malware-free recovery point to ensure successful recovery before launch”.
5. Integration-IT Service Management (ITSM) and Identity Management: Avatier Identity Anywhere is now certified for use with the ServiceNow Rome platform. Avatier claims that this integration allows users to “securely connect, configure, and audit any identity or application from ServiceNow’s Now Platform Rome.”
6. M&A-Cloud Security: F5 acquired Threat Stack, a cloud security software provider, for US$68 million. This transaction will add approximately $15 million in revenue to F5 in fiscal year 2022. The buyer stated that Threat Stack’s software provides security visibility across application infrastructure and cloud workloads.
