ServiceNow appointed John Donahoe as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Donahoe takes over the role of Dutchman Frank Slootman (photo), who will cease to hold his current position on April 3, 2017. Slootman will continue to serve as Chairman of ServiceNow.
Slootman said Donahoe is an outstanding and well-tested CEO, who is very suitable to lead ServiceNow in the next phase of the company’s growth. “As we elevate ServiceNow to the upper reaches of the value chain, John’s extensive track record in value creation, driving innovation, and expanding large technology companies will be critical. John Donahoe
Donahoe has more than thirty years of management experience. As the CEO of eBay, Donahoe saw eBay’s revenue double to $18 billion, while eBay’s market value increased by 250% to $80 billion. Before working at eBay, Donahoe worked at Bain & Company, a global consulting firm, for more than two decades. He started his career in this company and successfully grew to become CEO. Donahoe is currently the chairman of PayPal’s board of directors.

Turnover increased by 38%
ServiceNow’s revenue for fiscal year 2016 increased by 38%, reaching $1.39 billion. The company reported a net loss of $198.4 million.
