The Alemão Oswaldo Cruz Hospital, which has been operating in São Paulo for more than 120 years, hired Alpar to implement the ServiceNow platform to digitize IT requests and processes.
The project relies on ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and ServiceNow IT operations management solutions.
“We are not talking about computerization and invoicing through HelpDesk. Today, if there are any needs for doctors, wards, maintenance or human resources, we use online portals or mobile apps. The hospital’s technical manager reported on the advantages of automating certain processes after 30 days of operation, such as resetting access to the hospital’s system.
“Before, if a doctor or employee had problems with access, they had to contact IT. Today, this person does it through his smartphone, just like he needs to change or reset the password of a social network”, He said.
Finding solutions is part of the expansion and transformation process that began in 2010. In seven years, more than 592 million reais have been invested in equipment, technology and infrastructure.
