ServiceNow just presented the results of the second quarter. Revenue increased by 41% to $631.1 million, including $585.3 from subscriptions (an increase of 45%) and $45.8 million from services.
The gross profit margin for subscriptions is 83% or $483.6 million. The gross profit margin for professional services was -12% and the loss was US$5.7 million. The total gross profit margin was 76%, and the operating profit was US$477.9 million.
The loss of ITSM experts was reduced from 55.8 million US dollars last year to 52.7 million US dollars.
Operating cash flow was US$125.9 million, accounting for 20% of sales.
For this quarter, the Santa Clara company expects subscription revenue of $610 to $615 million (+29%+30%). The annual subscription business sales are expected to be between 2.41 and 2.42 billion US dollars, which is an increase of 38% to 39%.
