ServiceNow and “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure” integrated to improve multi-cloud management–ZDNet Japan

ServiceNow

ServiceNow and Oracle announced the integration of ServiceNow’s “ITOM Visibility” and “Oracle Cloud Infrastructure” (OCI).

Customers shared by both companies will be able to proactively visualize changes in OCI instances and understand how they will affect business services. The newly linked service is available in the “ServiceNow Store”.

ServiceNow aims to make “platform now” the core of multi-cloud deployment. “ServiceNow ITOM (IT Operation Management)” is linked with “Amazon Web Services (AWS)”, “Azure” and “Google Cloud”, and also supports “Kubernetes”, “OpenShift” and “Cloud Foundry” containers. .

By combining ServiceNow ITOM Visibility’s solution with OCI, Oracle explained that it can visualize multi-cloud IaaS, PaaS, and CaaS (container as a service) resources. ServiceNow’s comprehensive IT asset data also supports tasks such as change visibility, event tracking, and software license compliance.

Oracle has certified ServiceNow Discovery and Software Asset Management as third-party tools for software auditing. OCI also enables customers to take advantage of ServiceNow’s artificial intelligence (AI)-powered service operations to predict and prevent problems before they occur and affect users. A single integrated agent framework enables IT teams to enhance vulnerability management, software asset management, and use smart workflows to automate incident response. ServiceNow launched the latest version of the Now platform in Quebec in March.
