Frank Slootman, former CEO of Servicenow, is about to retire. To this end, he will step down as chairman and member of the company’s executive board. Company founder Fred Luddy takes over. This was announced at the 2018 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders.
Slootman has managed Servicenow for six years. He retired from the position of President and Chief Executive Officer (ceo) on April 3, 2017. His successor is John Donahoe, the former CEO of auction site eBay. He will manage the company from May 1, 2017. 45 days later, he taught courses through 100 customer conversations at Knowledge 17, the annual user conference in Orlando.
After resigning as CEO, Slootman continues to serve as Chairman of Servicenow’s board of directors. However, he announced his retirement at the annual shareholders meeting. He handed over the baton to Fred Luddy, the founder of Servicenow. Donahoe said that Luddy’s basic vision remains critical to the company’s customer success.
In addition to changing the chairman of the board, Servicenow also announced that Dennis Woodside, Dropbox’s chief operating officer (COO), has joined the board. According to Donahoe, he has experience in expanding technology companies and providing experience to customers and consumers.
