ServiceNow enhances solution portfolio through acquisition of Swarm64 and Mapwise

Santa Clara, California – (News Line) August 23, 2021 – ServiceNow, a leader in digital workflows that provides a better working environment, today announced the acquisition of Swarm64 and Mapwize.

Through the acquisition of Swarm64, ServiceNow will enable customers to more effectively manage data to run complex, high-speed data analysis on a large scale, and provide enhanced workspace services to its employees through the acquisition of Mapwise.

As a leader in database performance and scalability, Swarm64 provides analytical and transactional database functions, supports large-scale intelligent workflows and achieves first-class performance and scalability. With Swarm64, ServiceNow enables its customers to more effectively manage data across multiple disciplines and run complex, high-speed data analysis on a large scale.

The acquisition of Swarm64 represents ServiceNow’s continued investment in the open source field. With this, ServiceNow will add a new database talent pool to its engineering layer. Especially Swarm64 based on open source database technology is suitable for large data sets. This ultimately provides customers with the enterprise-level insights needed to process large amounts of data transactions and run complex analyses in real time.

ServiceNow also announced the acquisition of Mapwise, an indoor map and route finding company. Through this acquisition, ServiceNow will provide an indoor map function that employees can use to reserve seats, conference rooms and work areas, and navigate the office environment from their desktop or mobile devices. The Mapwise function also allows the facility management team to manage and update the office floor plan based on employee usage trends and changing needs.

Using Mapwise, employees can more easily navigate the work environment and access information and services related to the work space needed to maintain productivity. In this way, ServiceNow plans to advance the future of employee experience. ServiceNow will add Mapwise functions to its Now Platform and Workplace Service Delivery Suite, and will supplement and strengthen service delivery functions based on Mapwise’s △mapping solution △product capabilities△technical talents and ServiceNow’s existing working environment .

ServiceNow expects to complete the acquisition of Swarm64 and Mapwise in the third quarter of 2021.
