ServiceNow Ensures U.S. Department of Defense Impact Level-5 Temporary Authorization

SANTA CLARA, Calif .– (WIRE OF BUSINESS)-ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the leading digital workflow company that makes the world a better place for everyone, announced today that the ServiceNow National Security Cloud (NSC) offer has been acquired by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) Impact Level 5 (IL5) Provisional Authorization. As such, ServiceNow NSC is one of several software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service (SaaS/PaaS) offerings developed and authorized to meet the stringent Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide at Impact Level 5.

The IL5 Provisional Authorization will accelerate DOD’s digital transformation, as it allows DOD, its mission partners and select federal agencies to transfer highly sensitive data, including Controlled Unclassified Information and Unclassified National Security Systems, to ServiceNow cloud-based solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure Government.

Both the GCC hold a FedRAMP High Provisional Authority to Operate (P-ATO) and a DoD IL4 PA as well.
