ServiceNow has opened two new European data centers, located in Dublin, Ireland and Newport, UK. This expansion aims to help customers solve problems such as Brexit.
Specifically, ServiceNow hopes to enable European customers to accelerate their digital transition through two new data centers. In addition, given the location of the new data center, they also hope to help customers cope with the consequences of Brexit for their cloud-based environment (so far unknown). For example, consider the effectiveness of GDPR or other compliance laws and regulations.
Amsterdam-Dublin and London-Newport
The new data center in Dublin will be paired with the current ServiceNow data center in Amsterdam. In these combined data centers, all customers from EU member states will soon be able to access the advanced high-availability architecture of ServiceNow and basic services. The Amsterdam-Dublin pair has recently started live streaming.
Customers from the UK will soon be able to obtain ServiceNow services in existing data centers in London and Newport. These interconnected data centers will be online soon.
Global support
Globally, ServiceNow now has 11 “data center pairs” on five continents. Six global customer support organizations further provide support for these. In this way, ServiceNow wants to ensure that it can help customers around the world support the digital transition process.
