US IT provider Servicenow has taken over some of App4Mation’s business activities. The Utrecht-based company developed and implemented the Servicenow application for the (vertical) market. The facility company’s product line is called 4Facility and is now controlled by Servicenow. The acquisition will be completed in the second quarter of this year.
App4Mation Netherlands develops Servicenow applications for specific (vertical) markets. The 4Facility product line includes applications that help companies manage their facility needs more effectively, saving time and resources. These applications should promote the use of devices in the workplace, such as smartphones and tablets. The new branch focuses on the possibilities of the Internet of Things (iot).
Now, the 4Facility branch is taken over by Servicenow. This American organization provides solutions to improve the company’s IT, HR, security and CMS. It combines 4Facility with its own workflow and mobile functions to form the basis of a new product: workplace service delivery. The product will be available to many customers in the third quarter of 2020 and will help organizations prioritize services based on changing business needs.
This product is designed to help organizations gradually transition to working in the office. For example, employees can reserve desks, offices, and parking spaces to ensure physical distance measurement.

In addition to 4Facility, App4mation also owns 4Industry. This product portfolio helps workers in industrial environments to obtain the benefits of digitalization in a user-friendly way. An example of this is the launch of an application that helps maintenance technicians at Heineken Brewery track and predict machine maintenance.
App4Mation is a sister company of Plat4mation. This is Servicenow’s partner in sales (sales), service (service) and product development (technology). In addition, it is authorized as a training partner. This Dutch company was established in 2013 and has offices in Utrecht, Belgium (Mechelen in 2016), Germany (Frankfurt in 2018), the United States (Boston in 2018), and a development center in India (2019 Bangalore). Both companies have more than 200 employees, half of which are in the Netherlands.
