ServiceNow is looking for a solution consulting manager to manage a team of 5 to 7 pre-sales solution consultants to provide support to the regional sales team. The solution consulting manager is responsible for personal SC career planning and development, team development and recruitment, and other management responsibilities related to team management according to the dynamic needs of the sales organization.

In addition to these responsibilities, the SC manager should also maintain strong relationships with peers in sales, service, support, marketing, and other organizations to ensure the alignment of organizational activities and directions. These responsibilities directly support the SC manager’s main goal: to establish and maintain a team that consistently ensures a technical victory in every transaction they provide to the sales staff.

In order to succeed in this position, we need people with the following conditions:

  • Team management experience must be possessed; pre-sale organization management experience is preferred
  • Ability to lead project completion
  • Pre-sales experience and ITSM experience are very desirable
  • Very much need to have experience with ServiceNow product suite or competitive product suite
  • Able to express and logically communicate concepts with technical and non-technical audiences

What will you do in this role:

  • Understand the needs of the regional sales organization and make plans to ensure excellent support for these needs
  • Develop team members based on business needs and personal professional goals
  • Develop and maintain recruitment channels for potential SC candidates to meet future business needs
  • Cooperate with the regional sales director, give priority to regional solution consulting work
  • Allocate resources to sales opportunities and continuously evaluate progress based on goals
  • Allocate resources as needed for marketing and other support demand generation work
  • Develop and deploy team training courses to meet the changing needs of sales organizations
  • Through analysis and direct observation, peer feedback and sales feedback regularly evaluate team members
  • Ensure proper allocation of resources and effective use of skills in designated areas
  • Manage daily activities, such as resource planning conflicts, expense review and approval, activity reports, etc.
