Speridian gains business advantage: trading proceeds

Business Advantage’s customers are across California government agencies, including large companies such as Apple, HP Inc. and DXC.

Business Advantage Consulting will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Speridian and will continue to operate as a California company.

Steve Middlekauff, vice president of business development at Speridian, will be responsible for operating Business Advantage.

Business Advantage co-founder Angela Cheney (Angela Cheney) will exit as part of the transaction. Cheney’s co-founder husband died in 2014.

Speridian gains business advantage: about the buyer

Speridian is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico and has more than 1,000 employees. Business Advantage has approximately 45 employees.

Founded in 2003, Speridian is an Oracle Platinum partner, providing services to the commercial and public sector markets in multiple industries. The company said that areas of IT expertise include CRM, business applications, web application development and SaaS business models.

Speridian has M&A experience. The company merged with Xelleration of Irvine, California in 2017. Founded in 2001, Xelleration is a Microsoft hosting partner and cloud solution provider, serving customers in the healthcare, manufacturing, finance, retail, and education sectors. IT expertise areas include Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype for Business, Dynamics CRM and Power BI.
