Who we are and what are we looking for

The IT customer experience team is building a world-class after-sales customer support experience for our internal stakeholders and external customers. Customers can take advantage of our wide range of self-service solutions, such as: knowledge, community, mobile, portal, virtual agent, document and service automation. We are looking for machine learning engineers to advance our solutions by solving application problems in natural language understanding, general predictive intelligence, and core machine learning/AI tools and technologies.

You will use ServiceNow’s NLU and AI engines and/or the latest open source AI technology to evaluate and design ideal solutions. Keeping up with ML/AI industry trends and advancements is crucial, because this role will provide strategic guidance and innovative ideas on how to creatively apply the latest models and algorithms to solve customer support solution requirements.

This role also acts as a communicator, promoting AI throughout the IT customer experience product portfolio, assisting in brainstorming and executing strategies to best utilize the prospects of AI in various use cases.

Ideal candidate

ServiceNow is looking for enthusiastic, technical and dynamic leaders with the following attributes and activities:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in data science, machine learning, computer science or related technical fields with 3-5 years of experience
  • Have experience in training machine learning models and extrapolate the results into the application
  • Proficient in algorithms and data structures, and implement them in Java or Python
  • Experience in designing and constructing data and AI/ML-supported platform architectures, products and applications, including data analysis, optimization and retraining
  • Experience in large-scale large-scale batch processing and streaming updates, as well as classic relationships and modern large-scale data management techniques in transactions and analytical queries
  • Have the opportunity to transfer learning and understand the open source NLP library
  • Able to build NLP data pipelines and perform data transformation to fit deep learning models for language learning
  • High energy, self-starter, with the ability to learn new technologies, and the ability to collaborate and enthusiastically cultivate data and AI/ML culture
  • Adapt to the changing and rapidly changing environment
  • Experienced, able to work with development teams in agile environments in a broad geographic location
  • Strong written and oral communication/expressive skills
  • Possess ServiceNow platform and technical knowledge;
