ServiceNow’s redemption greed has enabled Passage AI to add another solution for creating chatbots to solve the problems of chatbots that have been acquired with Parlo.
ServiceNow’s latest acquisition is an AI-based dialogue platform developed by Passage AI. This Mountain View-based startup was founded in 2016 by its CEO Ravi Raj and his chief technology officers Madhu Mathihalli and Mitul Tiwari. The amount of its repurchase has not yet been notified. This is not the first time in chatbot technology since ServiceNow set its sights on Parlo in May 2018. With AI, not only Parlo can be acquired, but also Loom Systems (a few days ago), Attivio, FriendlyData, Qlue and DxContinuum can be acquired.
By strengthening deep learning capabilities, ServiceNow expressed its hope to accelerate the support of major languages on its Now platform to manage the company’s IT and business services. Publishers especially hope to use these technologies in virtual agents, service portals, workspaces, and other interfaces in preparation. In September, with the arrival of the new IT workspace, the New York version of the platform available in SaaS updated some of its interfaces. It also integrates natural language processing provided by Parlo.
Debu Chatterjee, Senior Manager of ServiceNow AI Engineering Business, said: “When people can complete tasks in their native language, work becomes easier. Passage AI’s solution brings a deep learning model that can be trained to understand the main language.
