With ServiceNow, TeamViewer gets smart workflow capabilities

TeamViewer, a global company that provides secure remote connection solutions, announced an update to the ServiceNow integration to include new features already in the ServiceNow store. The integration was first introduced in 2016 and has now been expanded to provide larger companies with broader and deeper capabilities to improve operations and IT asset management.
The update allows technical departments and remote support agents to optimize communication with internal or external users to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. The combination of TeamViewer Dashboard improves the efficiency of managing multiple support requests at the same time, detailed reports of TeamViewer usage, and the ability to connect and control any device on the ServiceNow network in assisted or unattended mode.

The main enhancements of the new integration include:

• Support independent remote control of corporate assets managed by ServiceNow
• Batch configuration of multiple devices arranged for remote control through ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
• Central control of autonomous access rights with new security features
• Automatically link the CMDB project to any ServiceNow task to enable one-click independent remote control from any components (such as events) referenced by the asset
• Detailed central connection report
