Business Insider continues to publish a series of publications on the salary of IT professionals from leading American technology companies. This time, providers of information security (IS) solutions-Palo Alto Networks, FireEye, Trend Micro, McAfee, CrowdStrike and Cloudflare-appeared.
How much does the listed company pay to key employees, including engineers, developers, data programmers, etc.? Crowd strike
CrowdStrike, an information security company, was founded in 2012 to collect information about hacker activities around the world and sell software to prevent cyber attacks.
One of the founders of CrowdStrike is the Russian Dmitry Alperovich, known for his investigations of Russian hackers. The company became especially well-known after the infamous “Russian Traces” report in the 2016 US presidential election. The document claimed that the Democratic Party’s server was attacked by the hacker group “Fantasy Bear”, which was allegedly controlled by the Russian military intelligence agency.
Recently, CrowdStrike’s financial situation has been on the rise: in the first quarter of 2020, it achieved net profit for the first time, and since the beginning of the year, its stock value on the exchange has doubled.
